BASIC ANTENNA TYPES

1. Dipole Antenna:

An antenna consisting of two metal rods (called elements) positioned one above the other and connected in the middle to the feed wire.

2. Half Wave Dipole:
As above, but being the special case where the over-all length of these two rods is half a wavelength at the required operating frequency
